Before CrossFit I was a Gold’s Gym member. It was hard to find a gym buddy, and trying to do workouts by myself. It was always hard trying to figure out what to do during my workouts. I have always wanted to do CrossFit. Everyone I know kept telling me it wasn’t good for me. I did some research about it, and decided to take the risk. That how I found out about the wrecked room throughout my research.

I didn’t know if I was going to make any friends, or be able to finish these WOD with everyone in the group. Everyone is very supportive to each other before, during, and after the WOD. I’m glad to be a part of the Wreck Room family!

My first goal was being able to compete my WOD before the cut-off time! The goals I’m working on now is to focus on my form and balance when it comes to tightening up my stomach for overhead squats, front squats, shoulder and overhead press. My other goal is to be able to do a pull-up. Lastly, I want to be able to do a CrossFit competition later in the future.

When I first started I was not lifting the weights that I’m lifting now for my strength and WOD. I feel a lot stronger and a little leaner.

In the past I would always find excuses to not workout. I was not motivated at all. I was always negative about my body. Eating the bad food that I shouldn’t be eating. I am more dedicated to working out now. I am more positive now when it comes to my body! Also, I’m just focusing on my diet now too.

My favorite Wreck Room moment would be the In-house Throwdown Competition. Everyone all getting together and competing for fun! Being able to compete all three WOD, and hitting my PR in clean & jerk (105lbs)!! Which I’m proud about knowing that my arms are getting stronger!

For Stephanie it all started with a No Sweat Intro.  Follow her lead and set up your appointment here.
